Tuberculosis is the leading cause of deaths in HIV Clients. People living with HIV without symptoms of tuberculosis can be prevented from having active TB by placing them on Isoniazid prophylaxis.

Worldwide, over 300 000 women die due to complications of pregnancy and childbirth with postpartum haemorrhage accounts for majority of these deaths.
